ProteinFinder was built by lifters who were tired of overpaying for protein. We'd spend 20 minutes manually checking Amazon, then Walmart, then GNC, then Bodybuilding.com — only to realize we could have gotten the same product for 30% less somewhere else.
So we built a tool that does that work automatically. Every day, ProteinFinder pulls live prices from every major retailer and organizes them by what actually matters: price per lb and cents per gram of protein.
Most price comparison sites show you the sticker price — which is useless when comparing a 2lb bag to a 10lb bag. We normalize everything so you can compare apples to apples:
We also show 90-day price history charts so you can see if a "sale" is actually a sale, or if a product has been that price for months.
We currently pull live prices from Amazon, Walmart, GNC, MyProtein, Bodybuilding.com, Target, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Transparent Labs, Legion Athletics, 1st Phorm, Bare Performance Nutrition, Walgreens, CVS, Thrive Market, NutraBio, PEScience, Cellucor, Thorne, and more. We add new retailers regularly.
ProteinFinder is completely free to use. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions — when you click a BUY button and make a purchase, we receive a small percentage of the sale from the retailer (typically 1–8%). This comes at zero cost to you: you pay the same price you'd pay going directly to the retailer.
We participate in the following affiliate programs:
Our affiliate relationships do not influence how we rank or sort products. Rankings are determined entirely by price — the cheapest product per lb is always #1, regardless of which retailer it comes from or which affiliate commission rate applies.
Prices are pulled fresh every 24 hours. Prices can change at any time — always verify the final price at checkout before purchasing. Shipping costs are not included in our comparisons. ProteinFinder is not responsible for price discrepancies between what is shown and what is charged at checkout.
